Christian Comment: God graciously gives His children the ability to understand the era in which they live, and the authority to call-out on evil. Mary Whtehouse was a brave and selfless capaigner who undoubtedly had a degree of prophetic insight. Her eternal destiny is assured. Tragically, so is that of her vociferous and hate-filled opponents – assuming they still reject Christ. “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first”. (John 15:18).
